A limited-run collaboration between NYC-based Jeff Staple Design and Raleigh Bicycles. Jeff is an avid cyclist and wanted to bring his design aesthetic to a bike that could handle anything an urban jungle like New York could throw at it. The Staple team added a digital texture on the tubes for grip when carrying the bike up stairs; faux pigeon poop on the saddle; vibrant pink rims for more visibility while weaving in traffic. The Raleigh mascot is a Heron and the Staple brand uses a Pigeon. A unique metal head badge was created so the two birds could flock together. I was thrilled to be able to collaborate with the Staple team from start to finish with this project, check out the final results below.
