Sustainable Music Northwest is grounded in the belief that live music strengthens communities. They partner with local residents and neighborhood groups to produce free, accessible events, featuring professional musicians paid fair, union-scale wages.

The brand direction centers on community, energy, and sustainability. The core mark is an interwoven “SM” monogram, symbolizing harmony, connection, and music woven into everyday life. A custom typeface, MM Sustain, takes cues from industrial lettering to add strength and utility.

Supporting elements include custom instrument illustrations and modular patterns, giving the identity flexibility while maintaining a cohesive, energetic system.
